The Kailali District Administration Office has suspended all services except the urgent ones due to the infection of coronavirus in the employees. In the information issued by the office, it has been confirmed that the corona infection has been confirmed in the employees and the infection will be exacerbated due to the overcrowding of the service recipients.

It is also stated in the notice that those who come for essential services should follow the prescribed health security and other standards. According to the Dipayal-based Health Directorate, out of 12,316 people tested in the state last week, about 24 percent, or 2,934, had confirmed corona infection. So far, samples of 461,328 people have been tested in the state. The number tested is about 18 percent of the total population of the state of 2.5 million 52 thousand 517. So far, 53,114 people have been infected.

Kailali and Kanchanpur, two districts in the Terai, are more affected by the disease than the hilly districts of the state. During the second wave of corona infections, the infection rate and mortality rate were higher in April and June last year. Something had gone down since the beginning of July. Corona infections have been on the rise since last December, with the third wave of coronavirus outbreaks. The health workers said that there was an increased risk of the disease as the movement of the public was not stopped even though the ban was issued for the prevention of the disease.
