International President and Vice President of JCI coming to Nepal

International President Argenis Angulo, and Vice President Rakhi Jain of the JCI are coming to Nepal. Chairman Angulo is scheduled to arrive today while Vice Chairman Jain is scheduled to arrive on Friday. Angulo is a citizen of Venezuela and Jain is a citizen of India.

Chairman of Nepal JCI Lal Mani Bhandari informed that it is the International President's visit to Nepal after seven years. Angulo will stay in Nepal till April 10.

While in Nepal, he is scheduled to participate in the annual program of the National JCs, including the National Councilors Academy, and meet Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, MP Binod Chaudhary, President of the Federation of Nepali Chambers of Commerce and Industry Shekhar Golchha, and the UN representative.

JCI, an international social organization for youth between the ages of 18 and 40, was established in Nepal on September 20, 1964. The working committee of Nepal JCI was formed under the leadership of Dr. Bhesh Bahadur Thapa 49 years after the establishment of the International JCI.

JCI currently has 172 branches in Nepal and has national working committees in more than 120 countries of the world. New leadership is elected every year for all the working committees of the JCI and only one person, one post, one term can be elected.
