Police arrested a man with 1.2 kg of silver for which he could not disclose the source from Ishnath Municipality-2 in Rautahat district.
The arrested has been identified as Sheikh Nasrul (34) of Kudiya in Rajpur Municipality in the district.
Nasrul was riding a motorcycle with Indian vehicle registration number BR 5 Q 9052 when the police nabbed him with the silver. He was entering Nepal from India. Mathiya-based Area Police Office personnel apprehended him during a routine vehicle check on Wednesday evening.
Further investigation into the matter is underway, informed the police.
