Nepal's health ministry urges all to adopt health safety measures

The Ministry of Health and Population has urged all to adopt health safety measures suggested by the World Health Organisation in order to stem the resurgence of COVID-19 cases.

The statement issued by the MoHP has said that the number of infection is on the rise of late abroad and hence precaution should be adopted in the country.

The Ministry has also put on alert its line agencies and hospitals to make the public adopt the health protocols in view of the possible resurgence of the pandemic. Meanwhile, health desks have been set up along Nepal-India border entry points and the authorities have been directed to follow contact tracing in suspected areas.

The Health Ministry has also urged all concerned to not organise seminars, workshops, and gatherings.
