Madhes Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut has said that the state research and training center would prove to be a cornerstone for maintaining good governance in the state. Speaking at the inauguration program of the state research and training center set up at Mujelia in Janakpurdham today, he said that the center was set up to maintain good governance in the state and it would prove to be a cornerstone.
Stating that the state government has a plan to develop the established research and training center as a model center of the country, Chief Minister Raut said that the state government has taken it seriously as it would provide training to the staff and people's representatives from the research center.
After the rural development training center, which was under the federal government in the past, came under the purview of the province, the provincial government had transformed it into a provincial research and training center and appointed Satar Ansari of Sarlahi as the executive director of the center. The center is under the Chief Minister's Office.
