'Save the Children' provided health, safety materials for Karnali children

An international organization working for the rights of children, Save the Children, has provided the health and safety materials worth Rs 4.8 million to the Karnali Province government. The materials would be provided to the children.

Project chief of Save the Children in province, Arun Kant Poudel, handed over the materials as PPE sets, VTM, surgical masks and others to Chief Minister Mahendra Bahadur Shahi.

Receiving the safety materials, CM Shahi said supports from all sides were imperative to face the present crisis. "Collective efforts create atmosphere to control the spread of coronavirus. It is common responsibility to fight the crisis."

The health and safety materials will be distributed to the children from Dailekh, Kalikot, Jajarkot and Surkhet districts in the province, it is said.
