Two arrested with heroin in Jhapa

Police in Jhapa district on Saturday evening arrested two youths in possession of 2.4 grams of heroin from Buddhashanti Rural Municipality-3.

The arrested have been identified as Bhimal Basnet (31) and Bishal Basnet (29), both residents of the same rural municipality.

Security personnel deployed from the Dhulabari-based Area Police Office nabbed them with the substance during a routine check.

Further investigation into the case is underway, said the police.
