Police in Syangja district have recovered the body of a male from Adhikhola of Bhirkot Municipality-3 in Syangja district.
The deceased who is around 50 to 55 years old has not been identified.
The body was found in the middle of the river, informed DSP Rajendra Prasad Adhikari, Spokesperson of District Police Office.
The locals saw the body at around 6 am and informed the police. Joint security personnel deployed from the Waling-based Ward Police Office and Bayarghari-based Dahathum Police Office recovered the body with the help of the locals.
The body has been taken to Waling-based Primary Hospital for a postmortem.
DSP Adhikari also stated that information regarding the body has been circulated in the adjoining settlements and police have asked locals to approach them to identify the body.
