Weather to gradually improve from Friday

The weather, which has been affected by the western low pressure system for the last few days, is expected to gradually improve from Friday. According to Varun Poudel, senior meteorologist at the Department of Water and Meteorology, the weather is likely to improve gradually as the weather system will weaken from Friday. "Until Thursday, there will be partial to normal cloud cover across the country," he said.

The department has issued warnings and advice for the next 24 hours. Light showers are likely in a few places in the far west, Karnali and Lumbini and one or two places in the rest of the states.

At present, there is normal condition in Far-Western and Gandaki provinces of the country and there is partial clouds in the rest of the provinces. Also, light rain is falling in one or two places of the far western region.

On Thursday, there will be partial to normal cloud cover in the hilly areas of Province-1, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and there will be partial cloud cover in the hilly areas of the rest of the provinces. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain in a few places in the hilly areas of the country and light snowfall in some places in the high hills and mountainous areas of the country.

According to the latest details of the Weather Forecast Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley today is 5.6 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 16.5 degrees Celsius. Similarly, the minimum temperature of Jumla was minus 1.7 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature of Janakpur was 24.0 degrees Celsius.
