National Assembly Chair Ganesh Prasad Timilsina has urged all political parties to be one when it comes to development works.
Stating that the country is heading to the age of development and prosperity, the Chair of the Upper House of the Federal Parliament cautioned against hampering development and construction projects.
He said this while inaugurating the province-level volleyball championship at Ramjadeurali of Modi Rural Municipality-7 on Friday. Ramjadeurali is Chair Timilsina's birthplace.
The CA Chair further said although the parties might carry out campaigns in favour of the political ideology espoused by them at the time of election, they should work together in development works. He called on the citizens to now gird up for economic prosperity and become professional.
Five teams are competing in the First National Assembly Chair Cup Gandaki Province-level Volleyball Championship. The final match of the league-cum- knock out tournament would be held on March 30. The winning team will get cash prize Rs 150 thousand, the first runner-up team Rs 100 thousand and the second runner-up team Rs 50 thousand.
