CPN MC chair Dahal calls for struggling to safeguard nationality

CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said the five-party alliance has been formed with the conclusion to struggle till the end for safeguarding nationality.

Addressing the party central committee’s virtual meeting on Monday, the former PM said that the opposition parties’ alliance was formed to protect the constitution, federal democratic republic and other achievements obtained from the people’s sacrifices.

On the occasion, Prachanda briefed the party central committee members about the latest political developments.

The meeting also sacked 14 elected local level’s representatives from the Maoist Centre after they joined another political party. Those being sacked from the Maoist Centre include mayors, deputies, ward chairpersons and some others.

Most of the local levels’ representatives facing action from the Maoist Centre party are from Rautahat and Kailali districts.
