The government has appealed not to take any action against the neighbouring country. In a statement issued on Sunday, the Ministry of Home Affairs appealed to the people not to engage in activities such as chanting slogans, holding demonstrations, and burning idols.

The ministry has warned that it will take action if there are such activities. Recently, there have been protests against the Darchula incident and the MCC project.
