In such a case, the five-party alliance could be broken, the Speaker removed and 14 MPs of our party would be executed and our party would cease to exist and even use the court. We have chosen an alternative path to avert all those dangers. '; Madhav Nepal

Chairman of the CPN-Unified Socialist Party Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that if they do not support the passage of the US aid project MCC agreement, there is a risk that the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML will jointly pass the MCC agreement and end the existence of their party.
Presenting a political report at a meeting of the party's politburo committee on Wednesday, he said that if they were against the MCC, there was a risk of breaking the ruling alliance and passing the Congress and UML as MCC, taking action against their 14 MPs and ending the party's existence.
"If we had not done so, the NC and UML would have jointly approved the MCC Compact to break the five-party alliance, remove the speaker and take action against 14 lawmakers of our party," he said.
Earlier in the report, he had said, "In such a case, the five-party alliance could be broken, the speaker removed and 14 MPs of our party could be executed and our party's existence could be terminated and even the court could be used." We have chosen an alternative path to avert all those dangers. '
