CPN UML vice-chairman Bamdev Gautam has said that Madhav Kumar Nepal has made mistake by putting signatures to make Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba prime minister.

In the Central Committee meeting of CPN UML held at Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's official residence in Baluwatar today, leader Gautam said that if he were in place of leader Nepal, he would have supported Deuba only after resigning from the party.

Addressing the CC meeting leader Gautam urged leader Nepal to come back to the party. He also urged CPN UML chair Oli to keep patience citing that the party unity was inevitable.

On the occasion, party chair Oli cautioned the party leaders saying that the plots were being hatched to attack the President.

PM Oli also said that it was not acceptable that the party members were trying to help the opposition leader become a prime minister. He remarked, " We are flexible to unite the party, but I want to remind them that our movement is strong."

CPN UML Chair Oli had welcomed leader Gautam who has been making effort to retain the party unity. It has been learnt that Oli also urged the leaders of the faction led by Madhav Kumar Nepal and Jhalanath Khanal to attend the next meeting of the Party's central committee.

On the occasion, Oli urged the party vice-chairman to continue attending every meeting of the party.

Moreover, CPN UML Chair Oli who is also the Prime Minister said that the vaccine against COVID-19 would arrive in the country within two days. However, he also commented that although the government has taken all required procedures to import vaccines, there were some leaders from the opposition alliance who have been hindering the process.
