Senior leader Rajendra Mahato of the Janata Samajbadi Party-Nepal (JSP-N) has been appointed as the parliamentary party leader of the party.
He was appointed to the post by the faction led by the party’s Chairperson Mahanta Thakur. The decision to appoint Mahato as the parliamentary leader was taken during the meeting of the party leaders on Thursday.
Immediately after the meeting was over on Thursday, Thakur and Mahato had taken lawmakers from their faction to a resort in Bhaktapur.
