The Nepali Congress and CPN (Maoist Centre) have planned to claim for the formation of a new government. Preparations are being made by both parties to do so as per Article 76 (5) of the Constitution of Nepal.
Leaders of the CPN (Maoist Centre) have reached the parliamentary party office of the Nepali Congress in Singhadurbar. A meeting is ongoing at the moment.
It has also been reported that a meeting of the Madhav Kumar Nepal-led faction of the CPN UML is ongoing.
