Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has sought UML's support in passing the US aid project MCC and said that he is ready to discuss all options for that.
During a meeting with UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli at the Parliament House, New Baneshwor, he said that he was ready to discuss all options to make it easier for the people to come to the Parliament and vote for the passage of the MCC.
"It is only natural to ask for your help. Let's discuss all the arrangements so we can make to make it easier for you to come to the parliament and cast your vote. Let's stand together and move this issue forward," said PM Deuba, according to Gagan Kumar Thapa.
According to him, UML Chairman Oli has replied that he will discuss the PM's proposal with his party again.
UML, which has been obstructing the parliament since September 8, stated that the speaker did not recognize the action taken by the party's central committee against 14 lawmakers including Madhav Kumar Nepal. UML has demanded that 14 MPs should either be punished or the Speaker should resign.
