Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the reinstatement of the House of Representatives will begin the game of power equation, distribution of shares in power and politics of fuss and commotion.

Speaking after laying the foundation stone for an industrial zone in Bedkot Municipality-2 on Monday, he however made it clear that he was not threatening the court but believed in the judiciary and principle of separation of power. "Some individuals are worried that their political life will come to an end if the nation heads to an election," he said.

Stating that West Seti is a pride project of the nation, he said that the project will ease the power supply in the Sudurpaschim. He also said that despite some elements trying to play politics in the Bhagarathi Bhatta murder case, the police were successful in arresting the culprit. "I also direct the administration to investigate and find the murderers of Nirmala Pant of Kanchanpur," he said.

Prime Minister Oli also said that development construction works can move ahead in the country, only if the people are liberated from their problems.

Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Lekhraj Bhatta said the process of setting up industrial zone has begun from the Sudurpaschim.

Minister for Forests and Environment Prem Ale shared that the government had allocated Rs 930 million to forward the work related to the Makahali Corridor.

The meeting of council of ministers will deliberate on it and will come up with solution so as to address the forest related matter, said Minister Ale, explaining that the Corridor related works were disrupted due to issues relating felling of trees where the industrial zone would be set up.

A high-powered commission will be formed to address the issues related to those displaced by the Shuklaphanta National Park for years, informed Minister Ale.

Similarly, Minister for State and Employment Gaurishankar Chaudhary believed that the establishment of an industrial zone in the locality would aid in the economic prosperity of this place.

Likewise, Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Ganesh Singh Thagunna claimed that there was no glorious plan for development before the Oli-led government. He attributed the Oli-led government for taking forward the projects such as Geta Medical College and Dhangadhi Airport among others during Oli’s leadership.

State Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Bimala BK asserted that the incumbent government had set a record by inaugurating 396 hospitals simultaneously. She viewed that the PM had also walked the talk when it comes to attaining prosperity rather than just engaging in rhetoric.

Industrial Area Management Limited Chairperson Nanda Kishor Basnet assured that the construction of physical infrastructures in the industrial sector would be carried out within five years.

He also pledged to provide basic such as electricity, roads and land among others needed for the industries. According to him, once the industrial area is established, it would generate employment for as many as 50,000 people.

Also, the tree-felling process will be initiated very soon, according to Basnet. At least 4,000 trees need to be cut down to establish the industrial area. “The enterprises would be provided from 5 kathha to 5 bigaha of land, depending on their size,” he said. Initially, 400 bigaha of land would be provided for 100 new enterprises to be set up in the industrial area.
