Senior leader of CPN UML Madhav Kumar Nepal has instructed the students' organisation, which has been established as a pillar of democracy and change, to stand firmly against misleading tendencies.
In the AKhil Force mass gathering organised by the All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU) Central Committee, leader Nepal instructed students to work honestly and conscientiously to control the tyrannical and arbitrary tendencies since arrogance ruins mankind.
Nepal said, "May the achievements of ANNFSU, who has played an important role in national politics, be something to be proud of in history. Take the strength of the organisation to the new height." He suggested studying Marxism and applying the ideology.
Leader Nepal expressed his respect for the decision of the Supreme Court. He opined that the role played by the members of the House of Representatives in defending the constitution and democracy could not be used in the coming days to dissolve the House of Representatives.
Suggesting to play a leading role in building a civilised and value-based society, he said it was necessary to move the communist movement in the right direction.
On a different note, the former prime minister suggested the government to form a committee to investigate the Darchula incident.
On the occasion, Chairperson of ANNFSU faction close to leader Nepal, Suresh Parajuli, said that the organisation, which has played a leading role in the movement for nationalism, democracy and change, has been continuously working for the party and leftist unity.
Likewise, coordinator of Akhil Force, Tapendra Jung Shahi, expressed his commitment to encouraging all to advance the culture of ideas, policies and loyalty as they are equipped with ideas.
In the gathering, ANNFSU Co-chairperson Asim Alam said that the organisation would work for quality education against the educational mafia in the country and to stop the corruption and hooliganism in the society.
