Nepal has won the gold in the head-to-head of the Nepal . Rajeev Shrestha, President of the Nepal Rafting and Canoeing Association, said that Nepal won the gold by scoring 120 points in the competition.
Nepal won the silver medal with 80 points in the slalom event held in Simla, Himachal Pradesh, India. Nepal finished fourth after scoring 60 points in Down River.
In the overall team, Nepal stood second.
Nepalese players include Sabin Gurung, Shaktikumar Gurung, Vijay Gurung, Dambar Bahadur Purwachhane and Dipesh Pun Magar.
