Garbage Collection

Garbage continues to pile up at Uttardhoka, Lazimpat.

Garbage still piled up on the streets of Kathmandu.

Although garbage collection had resumed in Kathmandu for over some days, the major thoroughfares of the Valley are still littered with solid waste.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba directed the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) to make arrangements for collecting garbage of the Kathmandu Valley by making necessary managements at the earliest possible time today.
