The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) held a programme on March 9 to celebrate the 100 days of the executive committee of the federation. The programme was held at Hotel Himalaya in Kupondole.
On the occasion, Shekhar Golchha, President of FNCCI, presented a ‘Vision Paper’. Golchha informed that as per the paper, the federation will be soon implementing various strategies like generating more employment opportunities within the country and setting up offices in all the seven provinces. He also mentioned that FNCCI will be establishing an unit that will help start-ups.
Golchha also said that the federation will soon be collecting data and statistics of all the sectors which will be easily accessible to everyone. “Not only that, we will be creating different forums for the stock market and foreign employment which will surely be of tremendous help to the public," he added.
He also emphasised on making Nepal a digital and knowledge-based economy. Meanwhile, Golchha shared that the federation will also be providing seed capital to 50 selected start-ups which will be announced within the next week.
