KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has lowered the prices of diesel and kerosene by one rupee per liter, effective today.
Following this adjustment, diesel will be priced at Rs 147.50 per liter in category A, Rs 149 in category B, and Rs 150 in category C.
The NOC categorizes its depots as follows: Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhganj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birganj are classified as category A; Surkhet and Dang as category B; and Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal as category C.
This price change comes in response to the latest purchasing prices from the Indian Oil Corporation, which saw a decrease of Rs 0.25 per liter for petrol and Rs 1.04 per liter for diesel.
