The Jaleswor Customs Office of Mahottari has collected revenue of Rs 1.57 billion in the first six months of the current fiscal year.
This is 191.90 percent of the actual target. Customs Officer and Information Officer Divya Ranjan Dahal informed that the office had set a target of collecting Rs. 818.95 million.
The office had managed to collect 121 percent more revenue than the target in July and 66 percent more in December last year, said Shashi Bishwakarma, Deputy of the Revenue Branch.
Stating that the office has been collecting more revenue than the target in each month of the current fiscal year till now, he informed that it has succeeded in collecting 91.90 percent more revenue than the target.
