KATHMANDU: The NEPSE rose by 4.63 points to close at 2,586.23 points. The stock market has settled at 2,586 points on the last trading day of the week.
The trading volume has also increased with the increase in the NEPSE index on this day. Shares worth Rs 3.59 billion were traded on Wednesday, while shares worth Rs 4.60 billion were traded on Thursday.
The trading volume has increased by Rs 1.1 billion compared to the previous day. 186,705 shares of 315 securities were traded today. While the prices of 156 companies increased, 77 decreased, and 11 remained unchanged.
The development bank group increased the most by 2.40 percent. Finance increased by 0.41, hotels and tourism by 0.69, hydropower by 1.87, life insurance by 0.37, manufacturing by 0.80, and non-life insurance by 0.77 percent. Trade by 2.03, others by 1.84, microfinance by 0.21, investment by 0.33, and banking by 0.15 percent.
