NRB reports decline in foreign currency exchange rates

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has released the latest foreign currency exchange rates today, revealing a decline in the values of all foreign currencies, including the US dollar, Australian dollar, British pound, and dinar.

As per the bank’s published rates, the purchasing rate for one US dollar stands at 134 rupees and 82 paisa, while the selling rate is set at 135 rupees and 42 paisa.

This marks a slight decrease from yesterday, when the buying rate was 134 rupees and 90 paisa, and the selling rate was 135 rupees and 50 paisa.

Additionally, the buying rate for one euro today is 140 rupees and 52 paisa, with a selling rate of 141 rupees and 14 paisa.

This is down from yesterday's buying rate of 142 rupees and 4 paisa and a selling rate of 142 rupees and 67 paisa.

The buying rate for one pound sterling is currently 168 rupees and 86 paisa, with a selling rate of 169 rupees and 61 paisa.

This is a decrease from yesterday’s buying rate of 170 rupees and 62 paisa and selling rate of 171 rupees and 38 paisa.

Today, the buying rate for one Australian dollar is 87 rupees and 63 paisa, and the selling rate is 88 rupees and 2 paisa, down from yesterday's buying rate of 88 rupees and 88 paisa and selling rate of 88 rupees and 39 paisa.

For one Kuwaiti dinar, the buying rate is 438 rupees and 38 paisa, while the selling rate is 439 rupees and 95 paisa. This reflects a slight decrease from yesterday’s buying rate of 438 rupees and 67 paisa and a selling rate of 440 rupees and 62 paisa.

Additionally, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar today is 357 rupees and 68 paisa, with a selling rate of 359 rupees and 28 paisa, compared to yesterday’s buying rate of 357 rupees and 90 paisa and selling rate of 359 rupees and 49 paisa.
