The pre-budget discussions in the National Assembly of Sudurpaschim Province have started today. The eighth session of the National Assembly in the province began from Friday and today discussions will be held regarding the budget for next fiscal year 2078/79.
Financial Affairs and Planning Minister Prakash Shah will be outlining the policies and priorities of the budget for the next fiscal year, informed Arjun Bhadur Thapa, Speaker of the National Assembly of Sudurpaschim Province.
Speaker Thapa also mentioned that pre-budget discussions will be held for a few days and the budget will include feasible suggestions and recommendations made by the provincial lawmakers before being announced on June 15. He also mentioned that the government’s policies and programmes will be introduced by June 8.
