The bull run in the share market shows no signs of slowing down. The country’s sole secondary market has been breaking records every other day since the past few weeks.
Today too it broke another record as the Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index closed the trading day at 2,906.89 points, which is an all-time high. This was an increase of 1.75 per cent or 50.13 points as compared to the previous closing.
A total of 37,455,189 shares were traded today through 171,060 transactions. The daily market turnover also crossed a whopping Rs 17 billion today. Meanwhile, the sensitive index increased by 1.54 per cent or 7.88 points to close at 520.99 points. Similarly, the float index rose by 2.09 per cent or 4.11 points to rest at 201.35 points.
