Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) has started providing all its services through its online system from today after more than eight employees tested positive for the coronavirus.
Issuing a notice today, the telecom authority informed that it has completely switched to the online system beginning from today until further notice.
NTA Spokesperson, Santosh Poudel, said all NTA-related services will be available online through various service-providing companies. ‘’We will facilitate all our licensed companies for the same,” he added.
To avail the services people must first send an e-mail to NTA informing about the nature of the required service. Besides, NTA has introduced the ‘work from home’ provision temporarily beginning from today bearing in mind the increased risk of infection among its employees. Employees of the authority will work from home from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm via the office automation system. However, e-attendance is mandatory.
However, if the office feels necessary, they can be asked to be physically present in the office.
