10 Indian citizens arrested

Police have arrested 10 Indian citizens who obtained Nepali citizenship by submitting fake documents.

The police team deployed from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office has brought out the fact that Indian citizens obtained citizenship by submitting fake documents after nearly 3 and a half months of investigation.

SSP Manoj KC, chief of the Valley Crime Investigation Office, said that 10 Indian citizens who obtained Nepali citizenship by submitting fake documents were arrested.

He said that after they got Nepali citizenship, they bought houses and lands in different parts of Nepal and also did business.
