10 staging protest against MCC in front of US Embassy arrested

As many as ten persons staging a protest against Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) in front of the Embassy of the United States of America in Kathmandu have been arrested.

According to Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu, the protesters were arrested as they were demonstrating in the prohibited area.

All the arrestees are said to be the activists joining the national campaign against the United States foreign aid agency that provides grants to countries that have been determined to have good economic policies and potential for economic growth.
