In the voting for the House of Representatives and State Assembly elections held today, 36.13 percent voting was done in Lalitpur district till 1 pm.
"Until 1 o'clock today, 36.13 percent voting has been completed in all 290 polling stations", Chief District Officer Jayanarayan Acharya said, "We expect more than 60 percent voting by the appointed time."
According to him, voting has stopped in one polling station in the district. It was stopped after the direct ballot of the House of Representatives fell into the proportional ballot box and the proportional ballot into the direct ballot box at the polling station in the ward office building under ward No. 3 of Lalitpur.
