40% vaccinated against COVID in Kathmandu

In Kathmandu Valley, 40 percent have received both doses of COVID vaccine. The Ministry of Health and Population has stated that 40 percent of the people in the Kathmandu Valley have been vaccinated by September 19.

According to the ministry, 40 per cent in Kathmandu, 41 per cent in Bhaktapur and 38 per cent in Lalitpur have already received both doses.

Similarly, government has stated that 33 percent of those eligible for vaccination will be vaccinated with both doses by the end of September.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has instructed all the citizens to get both the doses of vaccination by the end of April, 2022.
