The communications and transport expenses of the technicians, deputed in the reconstruction of private houses through the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA), have been released.
According to the NRA, the remaining amount of Rs 83.4 million that has to be provided to the technicians, mobilized in the 32 earthquake-affected districts, was released. As informed, the technicians have yet to be provided the entitled amount since mid-July last year.
The Ministry of Finance has released the communications and transportation expenditure that has been put on hold for since long. A memorandum of understanding was made on June 27 to provide the expenditure the technicians are entitled to get as per the rule. A meeting of the direction committee on June 24 had decided to provide the technicians with communications and transportation expenses.
