Minister for Education, Science and Technology Devendra Poudel has directed Tribhuvan University to get the results of the students on time. Minister Poudel, who reached the Examination Control Office in Balkhu today to monitor the situation, directed to get the results of the students in time without making any excuse.

"Students have complained that they have not been able to take exams in some open commissions. When the results are not published, the students are deprived of that opportunity. Get the results in a 'fast track'," he said.

Controller of Examinations Pushparaj Joshi informed the Minister that the results could not be released on time due to lack of manpower. "Even if temporary staff was brought to the service commission due to lack of manpower, the work of the service recipients had to be done on time," said the Minister.

Stating that there are many complaints of students in the humanities faculty, the Minister urged the staff to pay attention to work without any complaints. Meanwhile, Controller of Examinations Joshi said that the results would be released within three months after the examination if there was sufficient manpower.

He said that it would take one year for the new employees to learn the system when the old employees retire. He admitted that out of 224 employees in the Office of the Controller of Examinations, 137 were working and the results could not be given on time.
