Former queen Komal Shah, who had been admitted to Norvic International Hospital for treatment after she was infected with the coronavirus, is currently undergoing plasma therapy.
Somnath Bastola, Public Relation Manager of Norvic Hospital, while speaking to NepalNews informed that the former queen has been receiving plasma therapy since Thursday evening. He stated that she is in the ICU and on high-flow oxygen support. “If the former queen’s condition still does not improve then we will have to put her on a ventilator,” Bastola shared.
Former king Gyanendra Shah and 70-year-old former queen were diagnosed with the disease on April 20 and were admitted along with their daughter Prerana Shah to the Norvic International Hospital for treatment of COVID-19.
