The Patan High Court has issued a short-term interim order in the case filed by Batas Group against Pashupati Area Development Fund. The order was passed by a single bench of Justice Naridhar Bhandari.
"A short-term interim order has been issued in the name of the opposition not to create any obstruction in the operation of Hotel Ananda Pvt. Ltd. as per the agreement of 2076/01/30 until the interim order is finalized," the judgment said.
Hotel Ananda Pvt. Ltd., which rented Nepal-India-friendly Pashupati Dharamsala with the fund, had filed a case against the fund in the high court last Thursday seeking a restraining order. The court has ordered both parties to appear for the discussion on March 25.
