Journalist Mishra succumbs to COVID-19

A journalist, Kamal Mishra (48) of Birtamod Municipality-8 in Jhapa district succumbed to COVID-19 on Wednesday night.

He died during the course of treatment at Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital, Teku.

Journalist Mishra had returned from India after attending a religious program a few days ago. It has been reported that he had fallen ill soon after returning from India. Subsequently,  he was admitted to the hospital.

Mishra had been working as a campaigner of a religious organisation located in Bhaktapur for the past two years.
