The temperature in Kathmandu Valley has dropped to 2.6 degrees. According to the Department of Meteorology, today's temperature in Kathmandu has been measured as the lowest this year.
Earlier on Friday, the temperature in Kathmandu Valley was 3.4 degrees. With the decrease in temperature, it has become colder all over the country including the valley. Meteorologist of the department Pratibha Manandhar said that the temperature in Kathmandu Valley is decreasing day by day.
It is said that the temperature will continue to fluctuate in the next few days. According to meteorologists, if the night is cloudy, the temperature will rise during the day and if the sky is clear, the temperature will decrease. Cold weather has also increased in the western Terai district. People's lives are becoming difficult due to fog and mist in most of the districts of the Terai. Doctors have advised to take precaution as colds especially affect the elderly and children.
According to the latest details of the Weather Forecast Division, the minimum temperature in the Kathmandu Valley today is the lowest temperature of 2.6 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 19.0 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature in Jumla was minus 5.3 degrees Celsius and the maximum in Bhairahawa was 28.1 degrees Celsius.
