KATHMANDU: The minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley has experienced a significant drop today (Thursday).
According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu, which was 6.7°C on Wednesday, has fallen to 4.1°C.
This sharp decline is attributed to the weakening influence of the westerly wind.
Meteorologists explain that when the sky is cloudy at night, the minimum temperature tends to rise.
However, if the sky remains clear, temperatures are more likely to drop further.
