MoU signed for employment of Nepalese nurses in UK

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the UK and the Government of Nepal, to provide employment for Nepali nurses in the UK health sector.

In presence of Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Sher Bahadur Kunwar, the MoU was signed between Secretary of the Ministry, Ek Narayan Aryal and British Ambassador Representative of Nepal, Nicola Pollitt, at Singh Darbar on Monday.

Secretary Aryal said that the standards related to the selection, posting and service facilities of Nepali health workers are currently under discussion and that all related arrangements will be made in accordance with the G to G process.
