Students of Niten Memorial School and Kathmandu Forestry College are participating in a clean-up campaign organized by Clean Up Nepal with the motive of cleaning Shivapuri. The Shivapuri Clean-up campaign is taking place on 12 November 2022 and will begin at 8 am. Only pre-registered members will be allowed to enter the premises.
As per the national park authority, four hiking routes have been recommended: Nagi Gumba, Shivapuri Peak, Bishnudwar, and Baghdwar. Niten Memorial School, army officers, European Union, and the Clean-up Nepal team will be participating in the cleaning campaign.
