Police arrested a youth on the charge of vandalising Shangrila Development Bank's ATM near Bhatbhateni Chowk in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-5, on Wednesday night.
The arrested has been identified as Dinesh Chhetri, a 21-year-old resident of Setibesi Rural Municipality-4 in Dhadeldhura district.
Security personnel deployed from the Maligaun-based Metropolitan Police Circle nabbed him while he was vandalising the bank's ATM. The police also seized the tool that was used in breaking the ATM.
Further investigation into the case is underway, said the police.
