Painting in support of earthquake victims

 Senior painters have prepared their paintings at Swastishree Gurukul IB World School in support of Jajarkot earthquake victims. Today 8 painters painted in the school. 2 other artists have helped the earthquake victims by making paintings at home.

 Those paintings will be exhibited at Jajarkot  Lalitpur. The money raised from the sale at the exhibition will be used to help the Jajarkot earthquake victims.

Kiran Manandhar, the former chancellor of Nepal Academy of Fine Arts, said that no price will be kept on those paintings and to help the victims of the earthquake, the buyer of the paintings can buy them by paying the price they want.

 Last week, Swastishree Gurukul School team went to Jajarkot and distributed verious meterials for the earthquake victims of Jajarkot and Rukum. B.

World School, with the help and contribution of students, parents, teachers, school staff, has reached the affected areas and distributed clothes, stationery materials and food to the victims as the first phase of support.

Meena Maharjan, the managing director of the school, said that the cooperation will continue in the coming days.
