KATHMANDU: It is seen that there will be competition between ‘Laaj Sharanam’ and ‘Hostel 3’ at the domestic box office. There is a difference of nearly 40 lakh rupees in the earnings of these two films which were released within a week. According to the box office data of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, ‘Laaz Sharanam’ has grossed nearly Rs 38.6 million nationwide in its 20 days of release. ‘Hostel 3’ has grossed Rs 34.6 million nationwide in 11 days of release.

‘Laaz Sharanam’ was released on Falgun 14 and ‘Hostel 3’ on Falgun 23. ‘Laaj Sharanam’ is directed by Kumar Kattel, stars famous faces including Sitaram Kattel, Arpan Thapa, Mahesh Tripathi, Arjun Ghimire Pandey, and Sagar Lamsal (Bale). ‘Hostel 3’ is directed by Sashan Kandel ‘Santosh’, features debut artists including Paras Bam Thakuri, Simran Pant, and Rihan Giri.
