Chhettrapti is the place where people mostly go to buy medicines. With the surge of COVID cases in the nation, there is a big demand for certain medicines in the market.

Sushil Kumar Shrestha says, " While there is no particular medicine that completely cures COVID, there are few of the medicines people mostly buy such as azithromycin, Vitamin D, cough syrup,  Paracetamol, and vaporizer steamer."

Focusing on the present situation, Sajju Khadka another pharmacist says, "When it comes to buying sanitizers and masks, people would rather buy an Indian brand than the Nepali ones.  And due to the COVID surge, demand for masks and sanitizers is high on the market." "While we used to sell around 1 box of masks, now we sell over 10 boxes a day," he adds.
