People waiting to receive second dose of Vero cell vaccine in Kathmandu

The government started administering people who had received the first dose of the Vero cell vaccine with the second dose today. The second dose will be administered till July 8.

The vaccines are being administered from 13 hospitals and health centres in Kathmandu Metropolitan City and also through various health centres in other locations from 10 am to 4 pm. However, the Central Department of Public Health located within the premises of Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj, ran out of vaccines after administering 1,260 doses and had to halt vaccination before 4 pm.
