Afghan police have seized arms and ammunition during a search operation in the eastern Kapisa province, according to a statement of the provincial police office on Friday.
Acting on a tip-off, the police force launched an operation and discovered one piece of AKM, a U.S.-made M16 assault rifle, two hand grenades, and thousands of bullets.
Two persons were taken into custody on the charge of involvement in this case, the statement added.
