377,000 anti-COVID vaccines brought for booster dose

 The government has brought 377,000 plus anti-COVID vaccines to administer as booster dose.

The Ministry of Health and Population brought the vaccines since the vaccine is required for the chronic patients and those travelling abroad.

Chief of the Supplies Management Section of Department of Health Services Dr Surendra Chaurasiya said that 377,000 shots of Pfizer vaccines were brought through the COVAX, the vaccines pillar of the Access to COVID-19 Tools.

Earlier on November 24, a total of 373,000 doses of anti-COVID vaccines were brought through the COVAX.

COVAX had pledged a total of 750,000 doses of anti-COVID vaccines for booster shots for Nepal.

The received vaccines would be sent to the province-level health facilities.
