Nepal recorded a total of 08 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Wednesday.
Of the confirmed cases: 06 cases were detected through the RT-PCR and 02 from the Antigen method.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, out of the total samples 615 were tested through RT-PCR and 1037 through the Antigen method. Currently, there are 235 active cases in the country as 34 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12019 to date.
